1994年，位于北京西边的一处煤矿宣布停产，将近两万人陆续从矿区离开。多年之后，被杂草和树木逐渐包围的这里成为城市探险者的乐园。
“1793年，法国人菲力拜·阿斯贝手持蜡烛独自探寻巴黎人骨墓穴”的故事在探险者圈内广为流传，这也使得这位法国人成为公认的“城市探险”第一人；而在国内，城市探险兴起或许还没超过20年。
我的同事大老师是最近几年入坑的城市探险者，刚刚说的煤矿他和朋友之前去过。
听他念叨几次之后，我们决定录一期关于城市探险的电台。
大老师开车，大老师家属霹雳同行，还有我这个第一次探险的胆小鬼。
没错，录制地点不是录音棚，而是我们去这个矿区探险的整个过程。
