当代艺术总是令我兴奋又困惑，有时它们像是时代的先声，有时不过是重新包装的陈词滥调，有时我觉得它们富有洞察，有时觉得只不过是胡作非为。
鞠白玉小姐的这个节目，给我一种安抚。她选取几十个案例，把这些当代艺术的重要的作品与事件放在一个更广阔的历史与社会背景中来看待，这让我更清晰的理解它们的谱系，以及内在逻辑。
我与鞠小姐认识多年，她一直是一位敏锐勤奋的观察者与思考者，我想她的讲述是当代艺术的最佳人选之一。她会给我带来启发，也希望给各位带来相似的启发。
