In a fragmented age, we have learned efficiency but forgotten how to be present. The body is here while the mind is elsewhere; schedules grow fuller as meaning grows thinner. Perhaps what we lack is not more knowledge but the capacity to feel life again.
Developed over two years, this course offers twenty-one lessons and more than twelve guided practices. Yang Guang and Jifei combine modern mindfulness with its Buddhist roots and insights from cognitive science, life science, consciousness studies, philosophy, and psychology.
Care: cultivate warmth and kindness, beginning with self-compassion and extending to others and the world.
Insight: use awareness and compassion to face mortality, nihilism, existence, and the search for meaning.
This is not another stress-reduction class. It is an exploration of how to live awake and whole. Mindfulness need not merely help us adapt to a system; it can help us meet the world with greater clarity and strength.
